This membership category provides for basic FPA services to landowners. Membership is voluntary to private landowners as a fixed rate per annum and includes the following:

ADVANCED AERIAL MEMBERSHIP

UFPA members subscribing to this category will have access to aerial resources on a 1st call, 2nd call or 3rd call basis during the fire season from 1 June to 31 October. These categories have different standby fee and flying rates which is revised and updated annually.

Our strategically placed cameras services mostly forestry members but have become popular amongst agriculture and conservation members lately.  UFPA shares a detection centre with the Umkhondo FPA situated in Piet Retief and is operational 24 hours a day 365 days a year.  Smoke/fires are detected and reported to subscribing members by radio or telephone after the fire verification.  The mobile application has become an integral part of our integrated fire management system and has proven to be extremely beneficial with instant fire notifications with visual fire and navigation to functions.  Call the UFPA manager for more information and trial period.
